Bucket List
Wash Day / 2

Wash day, and out come our galvanised tubs, buckets and basins – and a pile of pretty floral vintage table linens.

A tub of Russets, a wire basket of cookers, and a bucket of stems – we’ve added garden market produce to our wash-day story.  We also have a pair of folding garden benches; a sky-blue painted fold-up metal table – excellent to display a group of potted plants or for a tea on the lawn or a meadow picnic; and two 1930s shopping baskets for the gathering of your fruit and flowers.

It’s a big’n! Our extra-large galvanised oval tubs have twin handles and rolled rims, and can be used as garden planters – we’re thinking ferns, agapanthus or hydrangeas.  Or use one as a mini herb garden, with no need to transplant – just arrange your potted plants in the tub, which will disguise any ugly plastic pots. Looks lovely bristling with mint. Or of course it can be used as a fish pond, or as a bath for the dog. Their uses are boundless. Tap the pic below for more info.
